Bringing big flavor energy since 1935
It all started on a little family farm in New London, Wisconsin. A bold Austrian butcher named Friedrich "Fritz" Bernegger came in hot with old-school European sausage skills and a whole lotta smoke.
Armed with a dream, a few great cuts of meat, and a no-compromise attitude, he built Hillshire Farm on one bold belief: only the best or nothing at all.
